WHEREAS, said 'LaVERNE ;W. 'COLE will retire from the

WHEREAS, LaVERNE W. COLE has faithfully served as an
employee since March 1, 1968 as a Utilityman II,' for the Public
Works Department, and his loss will be deeply felt by the City
of Vernoni
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
takes this opportunity to commendL,aVERNE W . COLE for his many
years of devoted service to the City .of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes LaVERNE W. COLE continued success in whatever endeavors he
may undertake.
SECTION 3: That .the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the pass.age of this Resolution and present a
certified copy of the same to MR.. LaVERNE W.COLE, and that there-
