A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AUTHORIZING CERTAIN lNDIVIDUALS
TO ACT FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY OF VERNON
IN CERTAIN MATTERS RELATING TO THE FEDERAL
CIVIL DEFENSE ACT OF 1950 AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 4215

6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
7 OF THE CITY OF VERNON, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the Cit.y of Vernon
9 does hereby authorize the following named individuals to execute
10 for and in behalf of the City of Vernon, a public entity establish
11 ed under t.helaws of the State of California, applications for
12 documents for the purpose of obtaining financial assistance under
13 the Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950, as amended (Public L.aw920,
14 8lst Congress, 50 D.S.C. 2251-2297):
