CITY OF VERNON RETAINING PAUL O. GOODER
AS CONSULTING COJ.lc1MUNICATIONS ENGINEER
FOR THE CITY OF VERNON AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 4539

WHEREAS, PAUL O. GOODER, is a licensed Electrical
Engineeri and

WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public
8
Works/Building, has indicated that the City has a need for the
9
services of Mr. Gooder in a consulting capacitYi and
10
WHEREAS, PAUL O. GOODER has served the City in a
11
12

consulting capacity pursuant to Resolution No. 4539 prior to
June 30, 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE~ ~HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON

SECTION 2: That the Statement of Fees, attached
hereto as Exhibit "A':., ahd incor~or~~f~~f~~rein by this reference

as though fully set forth at length, is to be applicable during

the term provided for above.

SECTION 3: That MR. PAUL o. :GOODER will be under the
24 direct authority of Mr. Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public
25 WorkS/Building and shall make all of his reports and findings to
26 said director and receive instructions accordingly, unless the
27 City Council directs otherwise.

SECTION 4: That Resolution No. 4539 and all other

Resolutions in conflict herewith are repealed.
SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of June, 1978.
