A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON ACCEPTING THE BID OF M. p'. PAINTING
FOR THE CLEANING AND PAINTING OF THE EXTERIORS
OF EIGHTEEN CITY HOUSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 420 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AND
APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF SAID CONTRACT

7 approved by the City Council of the City of Vernon, pursuant to
8 Resolution No. 4570, and sealed bids were opened on June 6, 1978i

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does
hereby award Contract No. 420, in accordance with the recommenda-
\
tion of ArthurE. Nelson, Jr., Dir~ctor of Public Works and
22
authorize the Mayor to execute said contract on behalf of the
23
City.

SECTION 2: All other bids are rejected and the City
25
26
Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders
any cashier or certified checks deposited with said bids upon
27
the receipt of an ~xecuted contract from M. P. Painting,
28
accompanied by all required bonds and certificates.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this Resolution thereupon and thereafter
3 the same shall be in full force and effect.
4 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of June, 1978.
