A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON CONTINUING THE RETENTION OF PAUL P.
HENDRICKS, AS CONSUL'!'ING ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

as Consulting Electrical Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
SECTION 1: 'rhat the retention of PAUL P. HENDRICKS as
Consulting Electrical Engineer for the City of Vernon is hereby
continued.
SECTION 2: That the duties of said PAUL P. HENDRICKS
shall be t.o work with the City Council of the City of Vernon and
advise the same regarding the operation of the Light and Power
System of the City of Vernon.
SECTION 3: That said Consulting. Electrical Engineer of
the City of Vernon is hereby retained at a salary of $2,550.00
per month, payable in advance, commencing July 1, 1978,plus a
reimbursement of any monies advanced or expended by said Consul-
ting Electrical Engineer on behalf of the City of Vernon, for
necessary and reasonable expenses in the performance of his ser-
vices for the City, exclusive of office facilities, secretarial
services, local telephone charges, and local automobile transporta

SECTION 4: Resolution No. 4491 and all resolutions in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed as of June 30, 1978.
SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this>Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shat'l be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPR@VED this 29th day of June, 1978.
