A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AMENDING AND RENEWING THE CITY
ATTORNEY'S E~lPLOn1ENT AGREEHENT THROUGH
JUNE 30, 1979

5 WHEREAS, DAVID B. BREARLEY, has assumed all of the rights
6 and obligations under the previous City Attorney's Employment
7 Agreement; and
8 WHEREAS, the said Employment Agreement expires on
9 June 30, 1978; and
10 vJHEREAS, the City of VeFnon is desirous of amending and
11 renewing said City Attorney's Employment Agreement.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 does hereby amend and renew the City Attorney's existing Employ-
16 ment Agreement through June 30, 1979 and on a month-to-month basis
17 thereafter unless terminated by appropriate City Council acti.on.

SECTION 2: That the mayor is hereby authorized to
19 execute said Amendment and Renewal Agreement for and on behalf of
20 the City Council.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
22 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
23 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
24 ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 29th day of June, 1978.
