A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR CITY HALL
LANDSCAPING, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO.
415 OF THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, ENNS & GAGE, was awarded the Contract for

work on City Hall Landscaping, pursuant to Contract No. 415 of
7
the City of Vernoni and

WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public
9
WorkslBuilding, has reported to the City Council of the City of
Vernon that said work has been completed, under date of July 28,
11
1978, and recommends that the work be accepted and payment be
made to the Contractor in accordance with the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the work on the City Hall Landscaping,
pursuant to Contract No. 415 is hereby approved by the City of
Vernoni
SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is Thirty-
Three Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Four Dollars and ninety-four
20 cents ($33,234.94). That there is now due to the Contractor

the remaining ten percent (lQ%) of the total Contract amount or
the sum of Three Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-Three Dollars and
forty.....nine cents ($3,323.49) which is payable thirty-five (35)
days afte,r the adoption of thi$ Resolution and the City Council
of the City of Vernon hereby directs payment of said sum as
set forth to ENNS & GAGE and instruct the City Clerk to file a
Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon

shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and

thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of August, 1978.
