A RESOLUTION OF THE eITY eOUNeIL OF THE eITY
OF VERNON eOMMENDING eHARLES P. SILVERTHORNE
FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVIeE TO THE CITY OF
VERNON

5 WHEREAS, eHARLES P. SILVERTHORNE has been employed by
6 the eity of Vernon since July 16, 1955; and,
7 WHEREAS, said eHARLES P. SILVERTHORNE will retire from
8 the service of the eity of Vernon on March 14, 1979; and,
9 WHEREAS, eHARLES P. SILVERTHORNE has faithfully served
10 as an employee since July 16, 1955 as an Engineer I, and his loss
11 will be deeply felt by the eity of Vernon;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE eITY eOUNCIL OF
13 THE eITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SEeTION 1: That the eity eouncil of the eity of Vernon
15 takes this opportunity to commend eHARLES P. SILVERTHORNE for his
16 many years of devoted service to the eity of Vernon.

SEeTION 2: That the eity eouncil of the eity of Vernon
18 wishes eHARLES P. SILVERTHORNE continued success in whatever
19 endeavors he may undertake.

SEeTION 3: That the eity elerk of the eity of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
22 certified copy thereof to MR.eHARLES P. SILVERTHORNE, and that
23 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effec .
24 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of January, 1979.
