RESOLUTION NO. 4622

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK ON TRAFFIC PAVEMENT
STRIPING - 1978, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT
NO. 416 OF THE CITY OF VERNON

5 WHEREAS, SAFETY STRIPING SERVICE, INC., was awarded the
6 Contract for work on traffic pavement striping - 1978, pursuant
7 to Contract No. 416 of the City of Vernon; and
8 WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public
9 Works/Building, has reported to the City Council of the City of
10 Vernon that said work has been completed, under date of January 17
11 1979, and recommends that the work .be accepted and payment has
12 already been made to the Contractor in accordance with the
13 Agreement.
14 NOW, THEREFQRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON:

SECTION 1; That the work on traffic pavement striping -
17 1978, pursuant to Contract No. 416 is hereby approved by the City
18 of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is Fifteen
20 Thousand, One Hundred Twenty-One Dollars and Fifty-Seven Cents
21 ($15,121.57). That the total contract amount has been paid in
22 full and the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs
23 the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County
24 Recorder.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
26 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon
27 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
