A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING "LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT"
REQUESTED BY GOGIAN ENTERPRISES (PACIFIC COLD
STORAGE) AND MCCOY MEAT COMPANY

WHEREAS, Gogian Enterprises (Pacific Cold Storage) is the

owner of a parcel described in the attached Exhibit nAn and
7
incorporated herein by this reference; and,
8
WHEREAS, McCoy .Mea.t Compa.ny is the owner of the adjoining
9
property, described in the attached Exhibit "B", and incorporated
10
herein by this reference; and,
11
WHEREAS, said owners have agreed to adjust the common
12
boundary between their properties as described in the attached
13
Exhibit "C", and incorporated herein by this reference; and,
14
WHEREAS, said McCOy .Meat Company has agreed to deed to
said Gogian Enterprises (Pacific Cold Storage) all property on
the easterly s~de of said Line so that said described Line will
15

be the boundary line between their said properties; and,

WHEREAS, said owners have applied for a "Lot Line Adjust-
19
ment" pursuant to Section 66412 Cd) of the Subdivision Map Act; and
WHEREAS, Section 66412(d) of said Act provides as
20
21 follows:

"this division shall be applicable to:

Cd) A lot line adjustment between two or more
24
adjacent parcels, where the land taken from one
25
26
parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, and
where a greater number of parcel than originally
27
existed is not thereby created, provided the
28
lot line adjustment is approved by Resolution
1 of the local agency".

3 WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjustment" was referred to
4 Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public Works/Building, who
5 has reported to the City Council under the date of February 1,
6 1979, recommending said "Lot Line Adjustment" be approved.
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
8 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
10 does hereby determine that the recitals contained hereinabove are
11 hereby found and determined to be true and factual.

SECTION 2: The application filed by Gogian Enterprises
13 (Pacific Cold Storage) and McCoy Meat Company by letter dated
14 January 26, 1979, for a "Lot Line Adjustment" for the property
15 described in the attached Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" with said
16 "Lot Line Adjustment" being described in the attached Exhibit "C"
17 is hereby approved in accordance with the recommendation of Arthur
18 E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public Works/Building.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution thereupon and there-

after the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 1979.
