A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING HEALTH
PERMIT FEES APPLICABLE TO ALL PERMITS GRANTED
BY THE CITY OF VERNON PURSUANT TO SECTION
11.25 AND SECTION 13.7 OF THE VERNON CITY
CODE AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 4558

6 WHEREAS, the Vernon City Code and, in particular,
7 Section 11.25 and Section 13.7 thereof, provides for the issuance
8 of health permits; and,
9 WHEREAS, Section 11.25 and Section 13.8 of the Vernon
10 Ci ty Code provides that the City Council of the City of Vernon
11 shall establish, by Resolution, health permit inspection fees
12 for the various types of businesses and vehicles requiring health
13 permi ts; and,
14 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
15 Resolution No. 4558 on March 21, 1978 establishing health permit
16 fees in accordance with said code; and,
17 WHEREAS, said fees established by said Resolution are
18 hereby determined to be inadequate; and,
19 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon intends
20 to establish new fees as set forth herein;
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
22 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
24 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained herein-
25 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2; That the City Council of the City of Vernon
27 does hereby establish that the issuance fees and annual renewal
28 fees for permits granted by the City of Vernon, pursuant to
1 Section 11.25 and Section 13.7 of the Vernon City Code as follows:

14 Vernon permitted Rendering Plant or Food Processing Establishment.

SECTION 3: That in addition to the foregoing, the
16 licensee or permittee shall pay all other necessary fees or
17 deposits which may be required by other ordinances or resolutions
18 of the City of Vernon or applicable State laws in effect.
19
SECTION 4: That the fees provided for herein shall be
20 effective on April 1, 1979, and that Resolution No. 4558 and all
21 other Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
23
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
24
after the same shall be in full force and effect.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of March, 1979.
