1 RESOLUTION NO. 4636
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING "LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT"
3 REQUESTED BY BERT RAPP
4 WHEREAS, Bert Rapp is the owner of a parcel described
5 in the attached Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this re-
6 ference; and,
7 WHEREAS, Bert Rapp is the owner of the adjoining property
8 described in the attached Exhibit "B", and incorporated herein by
9 this reference; and,
10 WHEREAS, said owner has agreed to adjust the common
11 bOundary between hIS properties as described in the attached
12 Exhibit "C", and incorporated herein by this reference; and,
13 WHEREAS, said owner has agreed to deed to himself all
14 property on either side of the Line so that said described
15 Line will be the boundary line between his said properties; and,
16 WHEREAS, said owner has applied for a "Lot Line Adjust-
17 ment" pursuant to Section 664l2(d) of the Subdivision Map Act;
18 and,
19 WHEREAS, Section 664l2(d) of said Act provides as
20 follows:

"this division shall be inapplicable to:
Cd) A lot line adjustment between two or more
adjacent parcels, where the land taken from

one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel,
and where a greater number of parcel than
originally existed is not thereby created,
provided the lot line adjustment is approved
by Resolution of the local agency".

2 WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjustment" was referred to
3 Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public WorkslBuilding, who
4 has reported to the City Council under the date of March 8, 1979,
5 recommending said "Lot Line Adjustment".
6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
7 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
9 does hereby determine that the recitals contained hereinabove
10 are hereby found and determined to be true and factual.

SECTION 2: The application filed by Bert Rapp by letter
12 dated March 2, 1979, for a "Lot Line Adjustment" for the property
13 described in the attached Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" with said
14 "Lot Line Adjustment" being described in the attached Exhibit "c"
15 is hereby approved in accordance with the recommendation of
16 Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public Works/Building.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
18
certify to the passage of this Resolution thereupon and thereafter
19
the same shall be in full force and effect.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 20th day of March, 1979.

corner is a point in the center line of Leonis Boulevard (80 feet
wide), South 88050'17" West, 660.86 feet, more or less, from the
intersection of said center line with the center line of Boyle Ave-
nue (50 feet wide); thence along the easterly line of said lot. 17,
, North 1019'24" West, 321.81 feet more or less, to an inter,section
with the southerly line of the land described as Parcel 3, in deed

436, Official Records of said county; thence along the last said

Gentlemen:
Enclosed is letter dated March 2, 1979 signed by Bert
Rapp requesting a lot line adjustment betweeri two parcels he
owns on the north side of Leonis Boulevard westerly of Boyle
Avenue. The westerly parcel has a frontage of 175 feet and
the easterly parcel has a frontage of 50 feet. It is de-
sired to convey the westerly 25 feet of the easterly parcel
to the westerly parcel.
Pursuant to Section 664l2(d) of the Subdivision Map
Act said lot line adjustment may be accompolished by adoption
of a resolution of the City approving said adjustment.
It is recommended that the Resolution approving the
nlot line adjustment" be adopted.
