A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR STREET
SWEEPING 1976-1978, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CON-
TRACT NO. 399 OF THE CITY OF VERNON

6 WHEREAS, R. F. DICKSON COMPANY, INC. was awarded the
7 contract for street sweeping 1976....1978, pursuant to Contract No.
8 399 of the City of Vernon i and
9 WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public
10 Works/Building, has reported to the City Council of the City of
11 Vernon that said work has been completed, under date of April 9,
12 1979, and recommends that the work be accepted in accordance
13 with the Agreement.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the work for street sweeping 1976-1978,
17 pursuant to Contract No. 399 is hereby approved by the City of
18 Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the total contract amount of Sixty-Seven
20 Thousand, Six Hundred Sixty-One Dollars and Twenty-Eight Cents
I
21 ($67,661.28) has been paid to the Contractor in installments of
22 One Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Nine Dollars and Forty-Eight
23 Cents ($1,879.48) per month for thirty-six (36) months from
24 January, 1976 and the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
25 instructs the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the
26 County Recorder.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
28 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon

1 and thereafter the same shall be in full force'and effect.
2 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 1979.
