A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING JAMES BODNAR FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

5 WHEREAS, JAMES BODNAR has been employed by the City of
6 Vernon since July 16, 1953; and,
7 WHEREAS, said JAMES BODNAR has retired from the service
8 of the City of Vernon on April 26, 1979; and,
9 WHEREAS, JAMES BODNAR has faithfully served as an
10 employee since July 16, 1953 as a Captain in the Fire Department
11 of the City of Vernon, and his loss will be deeply felt by the
12 City of Vernon;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
14 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
16 takes this opportunity to commend JAMES BODNAR for his many years
17 of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 wishes JAMES BODNAR continued success in whatever endeavors he
20 may undertake.
21
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
22
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
23
certified copy thereof to MR. JAMES BODNAR, and that thereupon
24
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
25
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 1979.
