A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1979-1980

6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS
7 FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the anticipated requirements for the
9 fiscal year 1979-1980 for the different departments of the City
10 of Vernon be, and the same are hereby approved, as follows:

12 hereby finds that certain items provided for in individual de-
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon
13 partmental budgets are in the nature of community promotion and
14 education, and the City Council of the City of Vernon further
15 finds that the same are for the best interests of the City of
16 Vernon and constitute a reasonable expenditure of public funds.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
18 hereby directed to file this Resolution with the County Auditor
19 of Los Angeles County within 60 days after July 1, 1979 as re-
20 quired by S~53900 and 53901 of the Government Code of the State
21 of California.

23 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
24 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
25 effect.
