A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A QUANTITY
I ELECTRONIC CASH REGISTER FOR THE CITY CLERK'S
OFFICE AND AUTHORIZING NOTICE INVITING SEALED
PROPOSALS OR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE THEREOF

WHEREAS, FRANK MURILLO, Purchasing Agent, has recommended

to the City Cou~cil of the City of Vernon that the City Clerk's
Office needs a Quantity I Electronic Cash Register; and,

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
10

determined that it is in the best interests of the City of Vernon
to purchase the said Quantity I Electronic Cash Register.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
13
CITY Of VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained herein-
16 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That the purchase of a Quantity I Electronic
Cash Register is hereby approved by the City Council of the City
18

of Vernon.

SECTIQN 3; ':['hat the City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to give notice, in writing, inviting sealed pro-

posals Qr bids for the purchase of a Quantity I Electronic Cash

Re<;1ister ;for the City Clerk,' s Office in accordance with this

Resolution.

SECTION 4: There being no newspaper of general circula-
tion printed, published or circulated in the City of Vernon, the

City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice, or to cause it

to be posted, in three of the most public places in the City of
