A RESOLUTION OF'I'Jl~. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING "LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT"
REQUESTED BY OWENS-ILLINOIS, INC., FOREST
PRODUCTS DIVISION AND LOS ANGELES JUNCTION
JUNCTION RAILWAY CO.

6 WHEREAS, Owens-Illinois, Inc., Forest Products Division,
7 is the owner of a parcel described in the attached Exhibit "A"
8 and incorporated herein by this reference; and,
9 WHEREAS, Los Angeles Junction Railway Co. is the owner
10 of the adjoining property, described in the attached Exhibit "B",
II and incorporated herein by this reference; and,
12 WHEREAS, said owners have agreed to adjust the common
13 boundary between their properties as described in the attached
14 Exhibit "C", and incorporated herein by this reference; and,
15 WHEREAS, said Los Angeles Junction Railway Co. has agreed
16 to deed to said Owens-Illinois, Inc., Forest Products Division,
17 a portion of their property (1.562 acres) on the westerly
18 side of said Line so that said described Line will be the boundary
19 line between their said properties; and,
20 WHEREAS, said owners have applied for a "Lot Line Adjust-
21 ment" pursuant to ~664l2 (d) of the Subdivision Map Act; and,
22 WHEREAS, ~66412(d) of said Act provides as follows:

"this division shall be applicable to:

(d) A lot line adjustment between two or more
25
adjacent parcels, where the land taken from
26
one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, and
27
where a greater number of parcel than originally
28
existed is not thereby created, provided the
1 lot line adjustment is approved by Resqlution
2 of the local agency".

4 WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjustment" was referred to
5 Arth~r E. Nelson, ~r., Director of Public Works/Building, who
6 has reported to the City Council under the date of January 8,
7 1980, recommending: said "L6:t:::f.iheAdjustmentH be ,apprqved:.
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
9 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: That the City Council of the city of Vernon
11 does hereby determine that the recitals contained hereinabove are
12 hereby found and determined to be true and factual.

SECTION 2: The application filed by Los Angeles Junction
14 Railway Company by letter dated December 26, 1979, for a "Lot Line
15 Adjustment" for the property described in the attached Exhibits
16 "A" and "B" with said "Lot Line Adjustment" being described in
17 the attached Exhibit "C" is hereby approved in accordance with
18 the recommendation of Arthur E. Nelson, Jr., Director of Public
19 Works/Building.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution thereupon and there-
22
after the same shall be in full force and effect.

BANDINI BOULEVARD, CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA
That certain real property situate in the City of Vernon,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows:
Those portions of Lots 112 and 113 of the Rancho Laguna
as shown on Map filed as Exhibit "A" in Los Angeles Superior Court
Case No. B-25296, a certified copy of which is recorded in Book
6387 at page 1 et seq. of Deeds in the Office of the County Recorder
at said Los Angeles County, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the center line of
Bandini Boulevard, 80 feet wide, as described in the deed recorded
in Book 3860 at page 214 of Official Records in the Office of the
County Recorder of said Los Angeles County with the center line of
Atlantic Avenue (formerly Pasadena Avenue) as described in the
deed recorded in Book 864 at page 317 of said Official Records;
thence North 670 40' 55" West along the center line of said Bandini
Boulevard a distance of 3964.01 feet to a line that is parallel with
and distant Southeasterly 60 feet at right angles from the
Northeasterly prolongation of the Southeasterly line of that certain
property described in the deed to Fern Trucking Company recorded as
Document 602 of June 17, 1949 in Book 30336 at page 286 of said
Official Records; thence along said parallel line South 220 19' 05"

670 40' 55" West 297.31 feet along said Fern property line

of curve; thence Southeasterly along said curve a distance of

said Los Angeles County; more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of South Sunol
Drive (a private street 60 feet in width) and the Westerly prolongation
of the Southerly line of Ayers Avenue (a private street 60 feet in
width); thence from said point of beginning along said Westerly
prolongation South 670 40' 55" East 25.97 feet; thence South 20036' 29"
West 111.89 feet; thence South 130 34( 05" West 346.00 feet; thence
