A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR TRAFFIC
PAVEMENT STRIPING 1979, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 427 OF THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, TRAFFIC ENGINEERING, INC. was awarded the
6
Contract for traffic pavement striping 1979, pursuant to Contract
7
No. 427 of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Director of Public Worksl
8
9
Building, has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon
10
that said work has been completed, under date of January 17,
11
1980, and recommends that the work and payment therefor be
12
accepted in accordance with the Agreement.
13
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
14
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
15
SECTION 1: That the traffic pavement striping 1979,
16
pursuant to Contract No. 427 is hereby approved by the City of
17
Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the total contract amount was Sixteen
19
Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Two Dollars and Twelve Cents
20
21
($16,452.12), all of which has been paid and the City Council of
the City of Vernon hereby instructs the City Clerk to file a
Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
