A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPOINTING RONALD J. EINBODEN AS
ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF VERNON
TO SERVE UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION AND
CONTROL OF DAVID B. BREARLEY, CITY ATTORNEY

6 WHEREAS, David B. Brearley has been appointed the City
7 Attorney of the City of Vernon; and
8 WHEREAS, David B. Brearley serves as the City Attorney
9 of the City of Vernon pursuant to that certain contract entered
10 into by and between the City of Vernon and David B. Brearley
II pertaining to City Attorney services; and
12 WHEREAS, said contract provides that Mr. Brearley may gp-
13 point other attorneys to assist him in the performance of said
14 duties.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
16 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained herein-
19 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That the appointment of Ronald J. Einboden as
21 Assistant City Attorney by David B. Brearley, City Attorney, is
22 hereby accepted by the City Council.
23
SECTION 3: That Ronald J. Einboden is hereby appointed
24 Assistant City Attorney to serve under the direct control and
25 supervision of Mr. David B. Brearley, City Attorney and that any
26 and all compensation to be paid to Mr. Einboden shall be the sole
27 responsibility of Mr. David B. Brearley, City Attorney.

SECTION 4: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon

2 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
