A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING SGT. R. L. ANDERSON FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

5 WHEREAS, SGT. R. L. ANDERSON has been employed by the
6 City of Vernon since April 21, 1952; and
7 WHEREAS, said SGT. R. L. ANDERSON will retire from the
8 service of the City of Vernon on June 23, 1980; and
9 WHEREAS, SGT. R. L. ANDERSON has faithfully served as
10 an employee of the City of Vernon for approximately 28 years and
,11 his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 takes this opportunity to commend SGT. R. L. ANDERSON for his
16 many years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
17
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 wishes SGT. R. L. ANDERSON continued success in whatever endeavors
19 he may undertake.
20
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
22 certified copy thereof to SGT. R. L. ANDERSON, and that thereupon
23 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
