RESOLUTION NO. 4762
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 439 AND
AUTHORIZING NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
OR BIDS FOR INSTALLATION OF INTERNALLY
ILLUMINATED STREET NAME SIGNS IN ACCORDANCE
WITH CONTRACT. NO. 439 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Vernon Contract No. 439 for installation of internally
illuminated street name signs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
determined that it is in the best interests of the City of Vernon
that said contract be awarded in accordance with applicable State
law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Contract NO. 439 is hereby approved by the
City Council of the City of Vernon.
SECTION..2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to file in his office at .the city Hall of the
City of Vernon a copy of said Contract No. 439.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to give notice, in writing, inviting sealed
proposals .or bids for installation of internally illuminated
street name signs, in accordance with Contract No. 439 and in
accordance with this'Resolution.
SECTION 4: There being no newspaper of general circula-
tion printed, published or circulated in the City of Vernon, the
City Clerk is hereby directed to post said notice, Or to cause
