RESOLUTION NO. 4766
A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING SECTION 5 OF RESOLUTION NO. 4740
WHICH ESTABLISHED FEES FOR BUILDING, ELECTRICAL,
PLUMBING, HEATING, VENTILATING, COOLING, RE-
FRIGERATION AND FIRE PREVENTION PERMITS ISSUED
BY THE CITY OF VERNON AND FOR SPECIAL INSPECTIONS,
CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY, TEMPORARY USE OF
COHMERCIAL COACHES AND FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL
OF TENTATIVE PARCEL MAPS FOR DIVISION OF PROPERTY

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4740 was adopted by the City

Council of the City of Vernon on July 1, 1980; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 of sai~ Resolution provides for the
fees to be paid whenever a tentative parcel lot line adjustment
or certificate of compliance is submitted; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution of the City Council of the City
of Vernon intends to establish new fees as set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIO~ 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained herei -
above are true and correct.
SECTION 2: That Section 5 of Resolution No. 4740 shall
be amended to read as fqllows:
"SECTION 5: Whenever a tentative map,
parcel map, lot line adjustment or a
certificate of compliance is submitted
for approval wherein said map contains
less than four (4) parcels or lots, a
fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
shall be paid at the time of submittal.
Whenever a tentative map, parcel
map, lot line adjustment or certificate
.
of compliance is submitted for approval
wherein said map contains five (5) or
more parcels or lots, a fee of Six
Hundred Dollars ~$600.00) plus an ad-
ditional fee of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65.001
per each parcel or lot shall be paid at
the time of submittal.
These fees shall be in addition to
any other fees required by Section 2.5-3
of the Code of the City of Vernon."
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution,
and ~ollowing said certification this Resolution shall be in
full force and effect.
