A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON CO~1MENDING CAPTAIN RAYMOND W. DIMMITT
FOR' HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF .
VERNON
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN .RAYMOND W. DIMMITT has been emp'loyed
by the City of Vernon since March 20, 1953; and
WHEREAS, s~id CAPTAIN RAYMOND W...DIMMITTwi11retire
from the s~rvice.ofthe City of Vernon on February't.1, 1981; and
WHEREAS, CAPTAINRA,1CMOND W. DIMMITT ba~faitr1;lfully
served' as an employee since March 20, 1953 and has.served.asa
Captain in the Vernon P~i:i:e'.:; Department since Septenib~r 1,197:2,
and his loss wi].l be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ol<'

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
takes thisoppor,tuni ty to commend CAPTAIN RAYMO~D W. DIMMITT for
his many years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
