RESOLUTION NO.. 4767
A RESOLUTION. OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AMENDING SCHEDULES II AND V OF
lmSOLUTION NO. 4748 PROVIDING FOR THE DUTIES
AND .. SALARIES OF OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE
CITY AND FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4748 was adopted by the City
Council of the.City.Of Vernon on July J.5, 1980; and
WHEREAS, Schedule II of said Resolution provides for
the salary scale for the D~partment of Community Services;.. and
WHEREAS, Schedule V of said Resolution provides for
the salary scale of the City Administrator/City Clerk Department;

WHEREAS, . this Resolution of the City Council of the
14 City of Vernon intends to establish a new salary scale for
15 certa.inclassifications in the Department of Community Services
16 and to establish a new salary scale for certain classifications
17
in the City Administrator/City Clerk Department as set forth
18 herein.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
20 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City Of Vernon
22 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained herein
23 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That effective October 5,1980, Schedule II
25 of Resolution <No. 4748 shall be amended by changing the salaries
26 under the following classifications and that in a1.l other
27 particulars Schedule II of Resolution No. 4748 shall remain in
28 full force and effect:

SECTION 3: That effective November 2, 1980, Schedule V

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
19 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution, and
