RESOLUTION NO. 4769
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING CAPTAIN JAMES E. MULDOWN FOR
HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN JAMES E. MULDOWN has been employed by
the City of Vernon since July 16, 1954; and
WHEREAS, said CAPTAIN JAMES E. MULDOWN will re~ire from
the service of the City of Vernon on February 11, 1981; and
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN JAMES E. MULDOWN has faithfully served,
as an employee since July 16, 1954 and has served as a Captain
in the Vernon Fire Department since April 1, 1967 and his loss
will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of
Vernon takes this opportunity to commend CAPTAIN JAMES E. MULDOWN
for his many years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes'CAPTAIN JAMES E. MULDOWN continued success in whatever
endeavors he may undertake.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to CAPTAIN JA~mS E. MULDOWN, and that
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of February, 1981.
