RESOLUTION NO. 4773
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK FOR PAVEMENT
STRIPING 1980, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO.
434 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
6 WHEREAS, R & M HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT was awarded the
7 Contract for work on Pavement Striping 1980 pursuant to Contract
8 No. 434 of the City of Verno~; and
9 WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Director of Community
10 Services, has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon
11 that said work has been completed and contract amount paidi' under
12 date of January 26, 1981, and recommends that the work be
13 accepted.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the work on Pavement Striping 1980,
17 pursuant to Contract No. 434 is hereby approved by the City of
18 Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is Fifteen
20 Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Six Dollars and Four Cents
21 ($15,626.04) all of which has been paid to the Contractor and
22 the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs the
23 City Clerktoflile a Notice of Completion with the County
24 Recorder.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
26 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon
27 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
