RESOLUTION NO. 4780
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING BA~RY B. FRETWELL FOR
HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, BARRY .E. FRETWELL has been employed by the City
6 of Vernon since December 1, 1957; and
7 WHEREAS, said BARRY B. FRETWELL will retire from the
8 service of the City of Vernon on April 1, 1981; and
9 WHEREAS, BARRY B. FRETWELL has faithfully served as an
10 Engineer in the Vernon Fire Department for approximately 23
11 years and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 takes this opportunity to commend BARRY B. FRETWELL for his
16 many years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
17
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 wishes BARRY B. FRETWELL continued success in whatever endeavors
19 he may undertake.
20
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
22 certified copy thereof to MR. BARRY B. FRETWELL, and that there-
23 upon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
