RESOLUTION NO. 4787
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AUTHORIZING THE RENEWAL OF A GENERAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON
AND THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is presently a party to a
General Services Agreement with the County of Los Angeles, the
same being due to expire on June 30, 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
to renew said Agreement for a five (5) year period to cover
miscellaneous and sundry services and in particular City
prosecution services from the District Attorney and personnel
services to be supplied by the County of Los Angeles and the
various departments thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained herein-
above are true and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon by
this Resolution indicates its willingness to accept a renewal of
the General Services Agreement with the County of Los Angeles for
a five (5) year period, commencing July 1, 1981, to cover
miscellaneous and sundry services and in particular City
prosecution services from the District Attorney and personnel
services to be supplied by the County of Los Angeles and the
various departments thereof.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon

is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to
the appropriate department or departments of the County of Los
Angeles and by forwarding the same it shall be deemed that the
City of Vernon is willing to accept said renewal of the existing
General Services Agreement as set forth above.
SECTION 4: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
