RESOLUTION NO. 4788
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING IRENE O. NORTHROP FOR .
HER MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
6 WHEREAS, IRENE O. NORTHROP has been employed by the
7 City of Vernon since July 16, 1964; and
8 WHEREAS, said IRENE O. NORTHROP will retire from the
9 service of the City of Vernon on June 1, 1981; and
10 WHEREAS, IRENE O. NORTHROP has faithfully served as
11 an employee of. the City of Vernon in the capacity of Secretary
12 for approximately 17 years and her loss will be deeply felt by
13 the City of Vernon.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 takes this opportunity to commend IRENE O. NORTHROP for her many
18 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
19
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
20 wishes IRENE O. NORTHROP continued success in whatever endeavors
21 he may undertake.
22
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
23 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
24 certified copy thereof to IRENE O. NORTHROP, and that thereupon
25 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
