RESOLUTION NO. 478q
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING ANNA M. DORSEY FOR HER'
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

6 WHEREAS, ANNA M. DORSEY has been employed by the City
7 of Vernon since July 1, 1960; and
8 WHEREAS, said ANNA M. DORSEY will retire from the
9 service of the City of Vernon on June 1, 1981; and
10 WHEREAS, ANNA M. DORSEY has faithfully served as an
11 employee of the City of Vernon in the capacity of Secretary for
12 approximately 21 years and her loss will be deeply felt by the
13 City of Vernon.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 takes this opportunity to commend ANNA M. DORSEY for her many
18 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
19
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
20 wishes ANNA M. DORSEY continued success in whatever endeavors
21 she may undertake.
22
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
23 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
24 certified copy thereof to MRS. ANNA M. DORSEY, and that thereupon
25 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
