RESOLUTION NO. 4790
A RESODUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON CO~1ENDING CARLTON LEMONS FOR HIS
MANY 'YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
6 WHEREAS, CARLTON LEMONS has been employed by the City
7 of Vernon since February 1, 1955; and
8 WHEREAS, said CARLTON LEMONS will retire from the
9 service of the City of Vernon on June 30, 1981; and
10 WHEREAS, CARLTON LEMONS has faithfully served as an
11 employee of the City of Vernon in the. capacity of Utility Man
12 for approximately 26 years and his loss will be deeply felt by
13 the City of Vernon.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY.GF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 takes this opportunity to commend CARLTON LEMONS for. his many
18 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
19
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
20 wishes CARLTON LEMONS continued success in whatever endeavors he
21 may undertake.
22
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
23 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
24 certified copy thereof to MR. CARLTON LEMONS, and that thereupon
25 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
