A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF VERNON
APPOINTING WILLIAM JOSEPH DAVIS TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM
OF A MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL, KEITH K. KAESER,NOW RETIRED
SUBJECT TO THE FILING BY WILLIAM JOSEPH DAVIS OF THE FINANCIAL
DISCLOSURE S'1'ATEMENT AS REQUIRED BY 3701 (b) OF THE GOVERNMENT
CODE.

t.-lliEREAS, Keith K.. Kaeser has resigned from the City COuncil of the
City of Vernon effective Ap:r-il 30, 1981, and
t-vHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires to appoint
William Joseph Davis to the City Council of the City of Vernon to fill said
vacancy, and
v..'HEREAS, William Joseph Davis is a resident of the City of Vernon
and has been so since 1971 and qualifies for said appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ;CITY
OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby appoints
William Joseph Davis to fill the vacancy of the, City Council of the City
of Vernon created by the resignation by a meIllberof the City Council , Keith
K. Kaeser, to serve the unexpired term of said Keith K. Kaeser, subject to
the filing by William Joseph Davis of the Financial Disclosure Statement as
required by Section 370l(b) of the Government Code.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon~hall certify to
the passage of this Resolution and thereu.pon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force ,and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of May, 1981
