RESOLUTION NO. 4815
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1981-l982
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4749 was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Vernon on August 5, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
to establish a new budget to anticipate the requirements for the
fiscal year 1981-l982 for the different departments of the City
of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l: That theeity Council of the City of Vernon
hereby approves the following budget to anticipate the re-
quirements for the fiscal year 1981-l982 for the different
departments of the City of Vernon:

SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that certain items provided for in
individual department budgets are in the nature of community
promotion and education, and the City Council of the City of
Vernon further finds and determines that the same are in the
best interests of the City of Vernon and constitute a reasonable
expenditure of public funds.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to file this Resolution with the County Auditor

2 as required by ~~53900 and 5390l of the Government Code of the
3 State of California.

SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
5 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and
6 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
7 effect.
8 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of June, 1981.
