RESOLUTION NO. 4831
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON PAYING TRIBUTE TO PETER S. MILUTINOVICH
THE PROPRIETOR OF FRANK'S CAFE FOR ITS MANY
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS' OF THE CITY
OF VERNON
6 WHEREAS, Frank's Cafe located at 4230 S. Produce Plaza,
7 Vernon, California commenced doing business within the City of
8 Vernon in 1927; and
9 WHEREAS, Peter S. Milutinovich has been the proprietor
10 of Frank's Cafe since 1936; and
11 WHEREAS, many citizens of the City of Vernon have
12 enjoyed the services provided by Frank's Cafe; and
13 WHEREAS, Frank's Cafe has served the Vernon community
14 with distinction during the past 54 years; and
15 WHEREAS, Frank's Cafe is officially closing its doors
16 for business effective this week; and
17 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
18 to extend its congratulations to Peter S. Milutinovich as the
19 proprietor of Frank's Cafe for such distinguished service~
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
21 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
23 hereby finds and determines that Frank's Cafe has served the
24 Vernon community with distinction within the past 54 years.
25
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
26 hereby extends its appreciation to Peter S. Milutinovich as the
27 proprietor of Frank's Cafe for such distinguished service to the
28 needs of the Vernon community.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to PETER S. MILUTINOVICH, the proprietor
of Frank's Cafe, and that thereupon and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
