RESOLUTION NO. 4842
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AMENDING SCHEDULE II, EXHIBIT "A",
OF RESOLUTION NO. 4817 FIXING THE COMPENSATION
FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4817 was adopted by the City
Council of the City of Vernon on June 30, 1981; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4817 was previously amended
by Resolution No. 4839 adopted by the City Council of the' City of
Vernon on September 15, 1981; and
WHEREAS, Schedule II, Exhibit "A" of Resolution No.
4817 provides for the position and salary scale of Survey Party
Chief in the Department of Community Services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon intends
to establish a new salary scale for the position of Survey Party
Chief in the Department of Community Services as set forth herein
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained herein
above are true and correct.
SECt,rION 2: That effective October 18, 1981, Schedule
II, Exhibit "A" of Resolution No. 4817 shall be amended by
establishing the following salary scale for the position of
Survey Party Chief:

SECTION 3: 'l'hat in all other respects, Resolution No.
4817 shall. remain in full force and effect and that any resolutio
not consistent with or in conflict with this Resolution is ,hereby
repealed.
SEC'l'ION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this Res6lution and
following said certification this Resolution shall be in full
force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1981.
