2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON CO~~1ENDING ALFRED F. SOTELO FOR
3 HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
4 WHEREAS, ALFRED F. SOTELO has been employed by the City
5 of Vernon since November 16, 1956; and
6 WHEREAS, said ALFRED F. SOTELO will retire from the
7 service of the City of Vernon effective January 31, 1982; and
8 WHEREAS, ALFRED F. SOTELO has faith.fUlly served as an
9 employee of the Department of Community Services of the City
10 of Vernon for 25 years and is presently a Utility Man II in
11 the Department of Community Services and his loss will be
12 deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
14 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
.16 takes this opportunity to commend ALFRED F. SOTELO for his many
17 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
18
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 wishes ALFRED F. SOTELO continued success in whatever endeavors
20 he may undertake.
21
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
22 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
23 certified copy thereof to MR. ALFRED F. SOTELO, and that there-
24 upon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
25 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of December, 1981.
