RESOLUTION NO. 4876
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING BATTALION CHIEF PATRICK N.
MOOREHEAD FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, BATTALION CHIEF PATRICK N. MOOREHEAD has
been employed by the City of Vernon since April 1, 1954; and
WHEREAS, said BATTALION CHIEF PATRICK N. MOOREHEAD
will retire from the service of the City of Vernon on
February 23, 1982i and
WHEREAS, BATTALION CHIEF PATRICK N. MOOREHEAD has
faithfully served as an employee of the City since April 1,
1954 and has served as a Battalion Chief in the Verno.n Fire
Department since May 1, 1979, and his loss will be deeply felt
by the City of Vernon.
NQW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOW'S:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
takes thiso.ppo.rtunity to commend BATTALION CHIEF PATRICK N.
MOOREHEAD for his many years of devoted service to the City of
Vernon.
SECTION 2: That the CityCo.uncil of the City of Vernon
wishes BATTALION CHIEF PATRICK N. MOOREHEAD co.ntinued success
in whatever endeavors he may undertake.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to BATTALION CHIEF PATRICK N. MOOREHEAD,
and that thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full
force and effect.
