RESOLUTION NO. 4877
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING THOMAS J. STANLEY FOR
HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, THOMAS J. STANLEY has been employed by the
6 City of Vernon since April 1, 1956 i and
7 WHEREAS, said THOMAS J. STANLEY will retire fro.mthe
8 service of the City of Vernon on March 2, 1982 i and
~) WHEREAS, THOMAS J. STANLEY has faithfully served as
10 an employee of the City of Vernon in the Vernon Fire Departffient
11 for approximately 26 years and is presently a Fire Engineer I
12 and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
14 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Counc,il of the City of Vernon
16 takes this o.pportunity to commend THOMAS J., STANLEY fo.r his
17 many years o.f devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 wishes THOMAS J. STANLEY continued success in whatever endeavo.rs
20 he may undertake.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the Cityo.f Vernon
22 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
23 certified copy thereof to THOMAS J. STANLEY, and tha.t thereupon
24 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
