RESOLUTION NO. 488S
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF TRAFFIC
PAVEMENT STRIPING 1981, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 438 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
6 WHEREAS, SAFETY STRIPING SERVICE, INC. was awarded the
7 Contract for traffic pavement striping 1981, pursuant to
8 Contract No. 438 of the City of Vernoni and
9 WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Director of Community
10 Services, has repcrted to the City Council of the City of Vernon,
11 under the date of March 3, 1982, that said work has been
12 completed and reccmmended that said wcrk be accepted in
13 accordance with the Agreement.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the work for traffic pavement striping
17 1981, pursuant to. Contract No. 438, is hereby approved by the
18 City of Vernon.

SECT.ION 2: That the tctal contract amount was Twenty-
20 Three Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-Eight Dollars and Seventy-
21 Eight Cents ($23,428.78), all of which has been paid and the
22 City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs the City
23 Clerk to file a nctice of completion with the County Recorder.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
4 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of March, 1982.
