RESOLUTION NO. 4900
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF VERNON COMMENDING FIRE CAPTAIN ROBERT L.
GRAMER FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE
4 CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, FIRE CAPTAIN ROBERT L. GRAMER has been
6 employed by the City of Vernon since August 1, 1953; and
7 WHEREAS, said FIRE CAPTAIN ROBERT L. GRAMER retired
8 from the service of the City of Vernon on April 15, 1982; and
9 WHEREAS, FIRE CAPTAIN ROBERT L. GRAMER has faithfully
10 served as an employee of the City since August 1, 1953 and has
11 served as a Captain in the Vernon Fire Department since April 1,
12 1969, and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
14 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
16 takes this opportunity to commend FIRE CAPTAIN ROBERT L. GRAMER
17 for his many years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 wishes FIRE CAPTAIN ROBERT L. GRAMER continued success in
20 whatever endeavors he may undertake.

SECTION 3: The city Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a certified
copy thereof to FIRE CAPTAIN ROBERT L. GRAMER, and that thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
