RESOLUTION NO. 4946
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING BOBBY GENE EMRICK FOR
HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF
VERNON
WHEREAS, BOBBY GENE EMRICK has been employed by the City
of Vernon since Sep~ember 27, 1953; and
WHEREAS, BOBBY GENE EMRICK was retired from the service
8 of the City of Vernon effective September 7, 1982; and
9 WHEREAS, BOBBY GENE EMRICK has faithfully served as
10 an employee of the City of Vernon for approximately 29 years
11 and is presently a Records and Services Commander with the rank
12 of Lieutenant in the Vernon Police Department and his loss will
13 be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 takes this opportunity to commend BOBBY GENE EMRICK for his many
18 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
19
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
20 wishes BOBBY GENE EMRICK continued success in whatever endeavors
21 he may undertake.

SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
23 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
24 certified copy thereof to BOBBY GENE EMRICK, and that thereupon
25 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
