RESOLUTION NO. 4949
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK ON FUEL MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 445 OF
THE CITY OF:VERNON
6 WHEREAS, PETROLEUM CONTRACTORS, INC. was awarded the
7 contract .for Fuel Management System pursuant to Contract No.
8 445 of the City of Vernon; and
9 WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Director of Community
10 Services, has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon
11 on October 4, 1982, indicating that said work has been completed
12 and recommending that the work be accepted and payment be made
13 to the Contractor in a'ccordance with the Agreement.
14 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON:

SECTION 1: That the work on Fuel Management System,
17 pursuant to Contract No. 445, is hereby approved by the City of
18 Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is Thirty-
20 Three Thousand One Hundred Fifty-One Dollars and No Cents
21 ($33,151.00), which includes the change order and extra work
22 order. That there is now due to the Contractor a final partial
23 payment totaling Six Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars and Seventy Cents
24 ($632.70), which should be paid at this time, and the remaining
25 ten percent (10%) of the total Contract amount or the sum of
26 Three Thousand Three Hundred Fifteen Dollars and Ten Cents
27 ($3,315.10) is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption
28 of this Resolution and the City Council of the City of Vernon

1 hereby directs payment of said sums as set forth to PETROLEUM
2 CONTRACTORS, INC. and instructs the City Clerk to file a Notice
3 of Completion with the County Recorder.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
5 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon
6 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
7 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 1982.
