RESOLUTION NO. 4977
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C;LTY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE'BID OF LINDT-WILSON
MOTORS, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW
PICK-UP TRUCK FOR USE IN THE COMMUNITY
SERVICES DEPARTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BID
11195 AND APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF ANY
DOCUMENTS IN RELATION THERETO
WHEREAS, the purchase of one new pick-up truck for use
COIImlunity Services Department was approved by the City
the City of Vernon pursuant to Resolution No. 4963
on February 15, 1983;and
were referred to the Purchasing Agent
reliance upon his recommendation, Bruce V. Malkenhorst,
reported to the City Council
by letter dated February 24, 1983, recommending that the
truck be purchased from Lindt-Wilson Motors, Inc. on the
of Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Six
Dollars and Sixty-Six Cents ($7,756.66), being the lowest
responsible bid meeting tpe purchase specification requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does
pick-up truck, Bid 11195, in
Malkenhorst, City Administ1;'atorl
and authorizes the Mayor to execute any documents
thereto. .
.All other bids are hereby rejected.
