2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE.CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING RAYMOND TISDALE FOR HIS
3 MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
4 WHEREAS, RAYMOND TISDALE has been employed by the City
5 of Vernon since July 1, 1957; and
6 WHEREAS, RAYMOND TISDALE will retire from the service
7 of the City of Vernon on April 26, 1983; and
8 WHEREAS, RAYMOND TISDALE has faithfully served as a
9 police officer in the Vernon Police Department for approximately
10 26 years and has been a Detective in said Department since "May 5 ,
11 1980, and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 takes this opportunity to commend RAYMOND TISDALE for his many
16 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
17
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 wishes RAYMOND TISDALE continued success in whatever endeavors he
19 may undertake.
20
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
22 certified copy thereof to RATI10ND TISDALE and that thereupon and
23 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
