RESOLUTION NO. 5011
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON EXPRESSING ITS CONDOLENCES UPON THE
PASSING OF VINCENT D'AMICO
WHEREAS, VINCENT D'AMICO was employed by the City of
Vernon in the Vernon Fire Department from November 9,"1928 until
the date of his disability retirement on January 1, 1957, at which
time he was an" Assistant Chief in said Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, VINCENT D'AMICO served faithfully and capably as
an employee of the City of Vernon for approximately 28 years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon is struck
with a sense of grief by the untimely passing of VINCENT D'A}1ICO
on May 29, 1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon, on

behalf I of the entire City, mourns the passing of VINCENT D'AMICO
and taktes this opportunity to express its sincerest condolences
to his surviving relatives, to wit: his wife, Louise; his son,
Carl; l;1is two grandchildren, Kathleen and Paul; his brother, Joe;
and his three sisters, Pauline Agosto, Jean Issac and Angelina
Foughty.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby directed to fO~7ard an executed copy of this Resolution
to Mrs. Louise D'Amico.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
