RESOLUTION NO. 5026
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING HENRY R. VASQUEZ FOR HIS MANY
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, HENRY R. VASQUEZ has been employed by the City
of Vernon since September 1, 1962; and
vlliEREAS, said HENRY R. VASQUEZ will retire from the
service of the City of Vernon on August 31, 1983; and
WHEREAS, HENRY R. VASQUEZ has faithfully served as an
employee of the City of Vernon for approximately 21 years and has
served as a Foreman in the Water Department since June 1, 1976,
and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 takes this opportunity to commend HENRY R. VASQUEZ for his many
16 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 wishes HENRY R. VASQUEZ continued success in whatever endeavors
19 he may undertake.
20
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
21 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and present a
22 certified copy thereof to MR. HENRY R. VASQUEZ, and that there-
23 upon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
