RESOLUTION NO. 5027
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON REAPPOINTING WILLIAM M. MCCORMICK
TO SERVE AS A 'TRUSTEE ON THE <BOAR-DOE LIBRARY
TRUSTEES
6 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 18910 of the Education
7 Code and Section 2.34 of the Vernon City Code, Trustees serving
8 on the Board of Library Trustees shall be appointed by the Mayor
9 by and with the consent of the City Council; and
10 WHEREAS, the term of William M. McCormick serving on
11 the Board of Library Trustees expires on June 30, 1983; and
12 WHEREAS, the Mayor and the City Council of the City of
13 Vernon intend to reappoint William M. McCormick for a term of
14 three (3) years.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
16 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained herein-
19 above are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That Leonis C. Malburg, Mayor of the City
21 of Vernon, hereby reappoints William M. McCormick to serve as
22 a Trustee effective July 1, 1983 through June 30, 1986, a full
23 three (3) year term.

SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
25 hereby approves and consents to Mayor Leonis C. Malburg's
26 reappointment of William M. McCormick to serve as a Trustee on
27 the Board of Library Trustees for a term of three (3) years as
28 hereinabove recited.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the.City of Vernon shall
