RESOLUTION NO. 5034
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF PAVEMENT
STRIPING 1982-1983, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 450 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, SAFETY STRIPING SERVICE, INC. was awarded the
contract for the work of pavement striping 1982-1983 pursuant to

Contract No. 450 of the City of Vernon; and

WHEREAS, Arthur E. Nelson, Director of Community
Services, has reported to the City Council of the City of Vernon
10 on August 1, 1983, indicating that said work has been completed
and recommending that the work be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the work of pavement striping 1982-1983
pursuant to Contract No. 450 is hereby approved by the City of
15
Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the total contract amount is Twenty-
Two Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and Four Cents
18

($22,949.04), all of which has been paid to the Contractor, and
the City Council of the City of Vernon hereby instructs the City
20
Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder..

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
23
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
