RESOLUTION NO. 5067
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON EXPRESSING ITS GRIEF AT THE PASSING
3 OF MRS. ANTONIA Q. GONZALES, MOTHER OF LARRY
GONZALES, A MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
4 CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, Larry Gonzales has served the City of Vernon as
6 a member of the City Council for approximately ten (10) years; and
7 'WHEREAS, the deep regard of Mr. Gonzales for his mother
8 was well-known to his friends and colleagues; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon is
10 struck with a sense of grief by the passing of Mrs. Antonia Q.
11 Gonzales, mother of Larry Gonzales, on December 9, 1983.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon takes
15 this opportunity to convey its sincerest condolences to Larry
16 Gonzales on the passing of his mother, Antonia Q. Gonzales and
17 extends its sympathy to the surviving family for their great
18 los s .
19 SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
20 hereby directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to Larry
2] Gonzales.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
23 certify to the passage of this Resol!ltion and thereupon and
24 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
