RESOLUTION NO. 5078
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON EXPRESSING ITS GRIEF AT THE PASSING
OF RAYMOND GONZALES, SON OF LEONARD GONZALES,
AN EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY OF VERNON
5 WHEREAS, Leonard Gonzales has served as an employee
6 of the City of Vernon since November 10, 1952; and
7 WHEREAS, the deep regard of Leonard Gonzales for his
8 son was well-known to his friends and colleagues; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon is
10 struck with a sense of grief at the passing of Raymond Gonzales,
11 son of Leonard Gonzales, on December 30, 1983.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
15 wishes to take this opportunity to offer its sympathy and convey
16 its sincerest condolences to Leonard Gonzales and the surviving
17 family of Raymond Gonzales for their great loss.

SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
19 hereby directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to Leonard
20 Gonzales.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
22 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
23 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
24 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1984.
